pete wood 路

bajaben 路

nah it was full metal and burned a solid line where the links welded together and got me where the backing was touching my skin, not cool at all. ill get a hold of a pic for you guys.

My ole boy was helping me out in the engine bay a few years and he also touched the postive with his steel watch. At the time he was jumping around saying it burns etc and I was having a laugh at him acting so strange. Get it off, get it off, get what off?? He got some serious burns to his wrist as wasnt a happy camper. Still laugh about it today馃榿 Hope you wrist is not as bad Ben.

bajaben 路

its alright now, just gotta keep the dressing on for 5 days. looked pretty bad, white and green shriveled up burn, not cool at all

Alex Holzl 路

damm only done that with the spanner once or twice. that would have made you jump with the pain! did it heat up around ur wrist?

alex

bajaben 路

yeah, jumped at first cause of the sound, then started to feel the burn and just threw the watch off and looked at my wrist then got in under some water. not to bad anymore, just gotta keep the stupid dressing on

I had a mate who was having naughties in the back of a worn out old beetle when the seat earthed and the horsehair (or whatever it is) caught fire! Certainly put a downer on the whole situation馃槑

ColumBUS 路

ive had the seat earth in the back of my car before.

now i have a 16mm slab of plastic inder it, wrapped in a sheet of rubber. im not taking any chances

Saw a bloke lose his finger when his wedding ring shorted out at work. Try acciddently shorting 50v 1000 amp hour batteries out and see what that does for your tools and nerves.
All this was long ago before "workcover" Moral is no rings, plastic watches and properly insulated tools(not insulation tape wrapped around the spanner)

had a bit of hot metal fly back off a weld onto a silver ring a was wearing... 3rd degree burns the whole way around where the ring was... had a perfect 'ring' blister for about 5 weeks..

karmen 路
