My search for a split is continuing, and im going to look at a '59. this is about the tenth one i'm going to look at!.
What specifics should I look for in identifing this particular model. I think that it should have semephores(?) and it could possibly have a different transaxle nose cone(?), but how is it different? As i'd like to put an irs tranny in it, i'd like to know as apparently the transmission mounts differently in early 59's
Is there anywhere on the web a detailed model breakdown of chronological changes made? I've had a decent search but couldnt turn any thing up.
