Following on from the Sydney cruise post please find the final details of the cruise. Hope this makes it all nice and clear. So no excuses , you can jump in the cruise at any stage!
Sam ( VWFOOL) is going to follow this post with the details for the North of the Entrance so here's Sydney siders info
12 mid-day at Five Dock Mackers on Paramatta Rd is the first meeting point. The usual place for those that have come before.
From there we'll cruise up and meet Squizy and F3DK etc at the Brisbane Water foreshore car park at Tascott for 1pm. From there we'll cruise through Woy Woy, Avoca, Terrigal and from there up to Long Jetty carpark and meet up with DNVK.
An afternoon cruise to The Entrance and sit on the beach scoffing fish and chips will then follow.
If you possibly make it come along , should be fun!

Dubbers from Newcastle and North meet DNVK at Swansea McDonalds carpark (just before the roundabout to head onto the freeway), between 12 and 1230 for a 1pm departure.
So then , who's thinking about coming along? Nice to see how much interest we have for next week!

here is the map of where we will be meeting, i got it wrong before as i thought it was freemans but its actually Long jetty, just up the road from the main strip of The Entance.
the carpark is by the water on the corner of The Entrance RD and Tuggerah Pde at Rotary Park. for those who came last year its the same place.

I'll meet you guys just after the Hawkesbury River bridge, and will help get you down through to the Brisbane Water car park at Tascott. I'll keep an eye out and will catch up - so don't stop!
Should be a great afternoon cruising through Woy Woy, Avoca, Terrigal, Wamberal, and then up to Long Jetty and The Entrance.

I'll be there in my 62 beetle, bit sad was going to bring the oval but when adjusting the tappets noticed a broken valve spring o well maybe next cruise. Lucky tho as it could of been heeps worse if we hadn't been checking the tappets.

Paramatta rd , next to a servo. On the left as though your going to Paramatta. It's not Stanmore Mackers , it's further up by five dock.

Its the one right at the intersection of Great North Rd and Parramatta Rd. Where the big BP is, a few blocks down from Bunnings and the Motorcycle shop

Well we're looking good i reckon. Weather may not be over brilliant but apart from the odd shower hopefully all should be good.
Don't know how many we shall eventually have but bring a camera as you never know! Would be nice though to see bigger numbers attending.

If you're late Kim, just head up Concord Rd, up Ryde Rd to the Pacific Hwy, then onto the F3 at Wahroonga. I will be at the Hawkesbury River waiting for the cruise. If you still miss it, take the Gosford exit, head all the way down the Kariong hill to the West Gosford traffic lights - turn right. The 1pm meeting point is at the Tascott reserve on Brisbane Water Drive - right on the water. If you still get lost - I've u2u'd my mobile number.

Just back from our cruise to the Entrance. Great turn out thanks to the usual core dubbers plus a few new faces.
Had a great mix of dubs and for a change not one car the same colour. Last few cruises looked like a wedding procession with so many white cars. A cruise up to the Entrance , some Fish and chips and a catch up was the go. Although arriving a little late we all got there in one piece and hopefully everyone got home okay.
Thanks to all those that attended and no doudt i'll see you at the VW shootout in Nov and maybe for in December for our camp out/ overnight get together! Pic's to follow soon i'd say. Mine were crap as ususal so maybe Sam or one of the others will post.
Carry on cruising!!! We need them so bad!!!

I GOT FINED ON THE CRUISE!!! 🙁
Came in the mail yesterday, $75 and 3 demirit points on The Entrance Rd 3:14pm (I think that was on the way there). 10kmph over the speed limit,crap
I dont really mind the fine, it's the points that matter coz im still on my p's

Oh damn outside the Long Jetty plaza. I went through the speed camera at about 50 kmph trying to close everyone up so that we went through it slow. That's a bummer Sez.

yep sure is a bummer, mail arrived yesterday, i don't remember any speed camera's either, was it fixed or was there a cop out there with a radar? i didn't even think i sped that whole cruise i was behaving myself...well i guess not. Guess ill keep annoying my mum trying to get her to take the points for me again after being refused 14 times already yesterday

Yeah it's a fixed camera opposite the school where they nab people doing more than 40kmph in school hours. Post a pic - could be the best pic of the cruise. :thumb

Yeh, not too worried about this forum, everyone ive met seem pretty cool and understanding, dont see why anyone would care if i got someone else to take my points, im sure everyone else would do the same if they had someone to take them bcoz they couldn't afford to loose any points. anyways looks like mum isnt taking them after more begging, guess i just have to behave myself for another 7mths on 2points til i get my full license.:cry

It's a variable speed camera. 60kmph usually, 40 kmph in school hours.
