How Do I Change A Kombi Alternator

Hey guys,

my alternator on my 75 camper 1800cc has packed up and i really cant afford to take it to a mechanic to get it removed so i can have it sent for a change over.

Is it possible for me to take it out and do it by myself? im a bit mechanic retarded but willing to give it it a go. If anyone could advise me some tips or where to find some info i'd be stoked.

Here's a few great links on how to swap it out. You don't need to be a genius, just make sure you note how it comes apart and make sure the new on goes in the same way, particularly the wires!
