What the difference between a standard fuel tank and a EFI tank??
Is it just another outlet at the bottom. One for fuel to pump and the other return from the regulator?

They do have two outlets at the bottom.
I have had different reports to say that EFI tanks are baffled and standard are not, but I have also been told that 75 onward tanks are all baffled anyway.
Are you putting an EFI motor in and want to change the tank?

I have a 2L motor with std dual carbs. I have a complete efi system and want to fit that instead.

Maybe the questoin i should be asking is - anyone got a efi fuel tank handy.

Nope, no baffles in Kombi tanks. At least not the ones I've looked inside of ('73, '74, '77).
As hell bus confirmed, difference for EFI is just the extra pipe, outlet + return. What EFI tanks do have though is I guess what you'd call a surge tank inside, basically a small box around the outlet pipe to so you don't re-circulate hot fuel.
I gave my spare away a while ago sorry.

With the Suby conversion in our bay, I just used one of the breather pipes in the top of the tank to return the fuel. Didn't have to take the tank out.
One breather should be fine as every Holden I know of has only one breather.
