Here's some more pics. What a great day - the weather ended up being just great. Took us a while to get there, but oh so worth it in the end. Highlight of the day was picking up a KG along the way, making a brides day as we cruised past, and seeing Dans square - Oh so good in so many subtle ways.

Perhaps the next run can be a Christmas Charity Cruise up the same way?

I drove to Tascott, got there at about 1.20pm, then drove to Woy Woy, then went to the Haven at Terrigal, then went to The Entrance, then went back to the Haven, didn't see one other VW!
At least I pissed off an XR6 turbo on the way home:P
Looked like a great turnout, can't beleive I couldn't find anyone!

Guys as mentioned i know Sam is looking at a get together some time in December , same place.
Would be similar to this last cruise but rather than driving home we'd pitch tent and make a night of it.
Would be good , folk could either just rock up on the Sat or a Sun or stay over and have a few beers , barby etc.
I don't want to say too much as this is Sams idea and not mine.
Just watch out for details!

I can't beleive that I was parked in the bottom carpark at the Entrance, looks like 200m from where u guys were parked! Bugger.

yeh its actually from muswellbrook, i think built 8 years ago, the girl who drives i think got it off her dad, engine built by Hellbug and recoed by Ben Durie. interiors mint, paint is incredible.

In the pic it has twin carbs?

AND the air filters are solid??

Did anyone get a real good look at this?? You can see it in the picture on page 1.
ALL the turbos i have see have a single carb.

Cansome one please explain so i can quickly delete this :jesus

Judging by the plumbing I'd say the turbo is underneath rather than inside the car so I guess that'd be it right in front (or is that back?).

The turbo is behind the back seat! It's hard to imagine that this car is nearly 8 years old since built! It's stunning and mint condition in and out! Very nice car. Very fast car!

Sorry danny, the turbo is under the back apron. Check the pic. In the bottom left corner you can just make out the compressor housing where the pipe comes up.
