Allow me to introduce myself.

Hi Everyone. I was just turned onto this site by a fellow forum member. I have only had a little time to look around, but so far everything seems pretty top notch around here.

I am one of those Baja guys, if you were wondering. I look forward to meeting some new people, learning some new tricks and maybe sharing some of my own knowledge where possible. I am glad to be on board.

Thanks,

SHMO

Welcome to AVD. Good to see some more visitors from abroad.

g'day and welcome to oz and aussie veedubbers. good bunch of blokes and sheilas around here.

your id is in caps, whats it stand for?

Thanx for the warm welcome. Unfortunately I should tell you guys right up front, if you have a "VW get together" I probably won't make it. I would be a tough comute for me....haha

In regards to my nickname, SHMO doesn't stand for anything. It is simply a nickname my siblings hung on me when I was a kid. It has stuck with me all this time.

Here is a quick shot of my Baja and a link to more pics and specs.

Weird,

I don't know why those links didn't work. Maybe somebody can fill me in on what I did wrong?
