Same happened with an upset Wife who sold her husbands Lotus Elise on Ebay with no reserve while he was at work...

Why did they cover the plates with newspapers?
Were the picks the mistress' way of abusing the husband(cheating on her with the wife?)...and he didnt want to explain to the wife if the pics were put on the internet (as they would)
Wife: "wheres the car honey"
Husband "some buggar ran up the rear end...will be back in a week or two"
Next day: Someone puts pics on internet with plates showing.
Later that night: wife sees pics of car on internet.
Week or two later: car comes home
Next day : Wife leaves seven NEW pick holes in car.
So I guess its a good thing the plates r covered after all
