hey just a question. i've got a 1970 bug, i've got the normal speedo but it only goes to 160k/h and i pretty much got back to 0 on it on the freeway, which i estimate to be around 200 km/h but it wouldnt go anymore.. is there any other style speedo i could hook up to get a proper reading. or something i could hook up temporarily coz it is illegal and i am only on my p's so i dont wanna do it on a regular basis :P

Hi David

Very keen on 2 66 one if you think it fits splitty

let me know price and we might have a deal

crewcabconnection ·

ditto on the 66. :duh Beerdocs a timewaster....lol....

To answer the question, they are for beetles. Splitty speedo's have a straight exit for the speedo cable located in the centre of the rear, plus the indicator light should be on the top not the bottom. Beetle speedo'shave a angled exit for the cable at the rear of the speedo. These will fit a splittty but you will have to bend the speedo cable around to suit.

so if you want one in kph for your 56 oval no more converting those pesky mph
