DOUBLECAB ·

Hi Guys....
If one was buying a T4 1998 Double Cab and had to make the choice between a 2.5ltr petrol and a 2.4ltr (5cyl) diesel (NOT TURBO) both manual (5 gears) what would be the best choice and why??

Both around 140Ks.

OR neither????

Thanks.

My current tow truck is a T3500 Mazda, which is a Diesel.. I have owned petrol/gas powered F350 Fords (Never again) and a petrol powered Bedford truck and for my money, unless they come up with something better, I will never again drive anything but a Diesel...!!!
EXCELLENT economy and terrific pulling power in low down torque...
This truck of mine will comfortably pull/carry Twice its own weight, do it for a Fraction of the cost of Petrol with twice the economy of the LPG and all this from a truck that's classed as a 3-5 tonne running only a 3.5 litre 4 cyl deisel engine...
Hey if you want to go Fast, buy a petrol, if you want economy and reliability, I recommend deisel..
ps, I have almost 750,000 Kilometers on the clock now, and STILL going Strong...!!!
(edit: my "Toys" have petrol engines, but my Business Rely's on Diesel)
