John Saffron, curses and World Cup

Can any one remember watching the John Saffron show months (years?) back where he went to Kenys and got a witch doctor to take the curse off Australia.

Apparently my wife caught the end of him on Vega today.

We saw the show but i cant remember the facts.

Johnny Warren we leaving Kenya years ago told a witch doc to get stuffed when he asked for payment for a good luck dance.
He then put a spell on the Aussies.
Then Saffron got another doc to go to the same ground and they cut up a couple chooks (goat??) and got smeared all over in fresh blood.

Hmmmm..... did he REALLY lift the curse???

Remember Saffron interviewed Warren before he passed on and Warren believed it :alien

A lot of the players seem to be superstitious, one of the commentators wouldn't even mention the thing when asked about it the other nite!!

Didn't he also get a fatwa (spelling?) put on rove on that series? His new show is pretty good.

Yes i remember the show and heard it on vega ,he got a new witch doctor to channel up the spirit of the old one and sacraficed some chickens, and if my memory serves me i think they did the same in sydney🤪
