Cruise to Day of the Volkswagen!
Meet at 8am at Nunawading maccas (corner of springvale rd and whitehorse rd, melways: 48 F9)
This is just off the end of the Eastern Freeway so stop by and join the cruise!
I know that this cruise has already been mentioned, I just thought it deserved its own thread. And not enough people look in 'coming events' anymore.

Won't go on the cruise Sat night, but Eden and I shall be at the Maccas for 8am! Might even have to coax Eden's dad into joining us all so his Kombi can make friends... 😉

Does anyone know what the cost is for entering the show and shine, and is there an entry fee at the gate?

There is an entry fee at the gate - I think it's $10-15 depending on if you are a club member or not.

So I'm guessing that if you want your car in the show, and have 4 people.... 2 people have to pay $6 each, and the other two are part of the car's entry? Is that right?

Just to let everyone know, the intended route for tomorrow morning is:
From Nunawading travelling along Maroondah Hwy, turning left at Victoria Rd, right into Macintyre Lane (going out past Lilydale Airport and bypassing Lilydale), then left into Melba Hwy to Yarra Glen.
This is the same route as last year.

I'm going in my Beetle oD. Because I just had surgery for my nasal passage and I'm still groggy from the GA- my mum has kindly volunteered to drive me there. My little 2 yyear old nephew who totally loves Beetles is also coming along but coming in his mum's car (my sister).
We're going by the Eltham route- cos we live close to Warrendyte.
