hey mate well im now over this side of the harbour, what i want to know is if there is a vw mechanic over this way?
will have to catch up for that beer some time as well
The closest vw man is Andrews Automotive.
He is under the servo at the bottom of the Gladesville bridge.
He is not bad. So is the young guy that works with him.
There is also Adrian @ Powertune to the west of the bridge at Gladesville.......but...............
Otherwise i use Lou @ Lous A1 over at Regents Park. He is 15kms to the sth west but i like him. More of your back yard mech. Wouldnt get him to build a highly tune type 4 with webers but for wrenching it is not worth getting my hands dirty.

Well of course! Hans, Peter and Adam are absolute legends. Hans has forgotten more about air-cooled motors than most people will ever know. The guy is amazing! He's one of the quiet achievers of the VW scene. Everyone else likes to rave about Pobjoy, or Hozsl or Dodd or whatever, and that's fine, but Hans has been building air-cooled performance motors for just as long or longer... and the man who trained him, his dad, was factory trained by VW.Robo wrote:Klaack motors, 2A Lackey street fairfield
