Change log:
More than a hundred bugs have been squashed. It's not totally bug free yet, but it's getting close.
Buying and selling is now off limits to guest users as per Jim's request. To see these forums, you must register and log on.
The old not-very-functional language files for XMB have been deleted, and so I've reset everyone's language to English. Only the UltimaBB language files for Estonian and Dutch are available at this time. When the new translations for French and German (etc) are available, I will upload them.
The look and feel of the forum has been improved in many places. Please try all these features out and see how you go.
Mod / Admin changes:
All the moderation tools now work, including reporting posts and viewing poster's IPs. Mass moderation should also work, but please be gentle with this feature until you're happy with it.

Bug's I've noticed so far:
* links created from BBCode or directly from text doesn't seem to work properly. I'll fix that soon

the attachments/piccies don't show as you scroll down a thread, they have to be opened in a seperate window????? is that right ???? if so it sucks!

The attachments have been that way for some time. Only if people host the pictures offsite, say at photobucket, will the full picture show up in the thread. Unless something else has changed.

That was a new feature to act more like vBulletin. I've turned it off, so we return to our previous look and feel.

now some attachments come straight up, some don't tho......ALL piccies came straight up for me before. i checked some favourite threads of mine on which the pics came up, whhhaaa, now they're not.

For me, both pages have the full size images with statistics under each image. I clicked on all the images, and a pop up window occurs which contained the image.
What browser are you using - maybe it has something to do with that? I'm using Safari on the Mac.

No, that's a good clue - there was a change to the way in which filesize / file hight / file width is stored. The old images don't have file hight and file width. I'll write the conversion routine and see if it helps.

i just use plain old microsoft internet explorer, just went broadband a few weeks ago and was enjoying all those piccies instantly
just noticed that the item remaining details rattle over in the bar at the bottom of my screen, finally finishing with the number of attachments downloaded and "done", but nuthin'

Okay, the following bugs have been eliminated:
Images are now re-sized correctly under all circumstances (old or new)
Forum jump and search now contain password protected forums ... if you have the correct password
"Edited by..." is back
Users can now delete their own posts again
Mass thread deletion now has the correct moderator log
Post deletion is now moderator logged
BBcode auto insertion for Mozilla class browsers now works
Index news URL now work
Deletion of thread redirects does not delete the original thread now
cosmetic u2u shadow tearaway image fix

I just went to cahnge my Avatar and got this message
The ./images/avatars/uploads directory is not writeable, make sure to set the permissions ( CHMOD ) for the folder to 777 on your server.

the pics are now back, noticing that they are all 350 X 263 though, no matter what the kb or dimensions you upload them as.
even those being uploaded post changes. Are these the new maximum dimensions?

I'm afraid that's how they're going to be - for the thumbnails. Do you have any size preferences for the thumbnails? I've bumped 'em to a max of 640x480.

Looking good.
One small complaint and it might be my browser at fault (Firefox) If Im veiwing a post at the bottom of a page, when I click back on my browser I go back to the top of the page again, then I have to scroll down again get to the next post at the bottom of the page.

when i hit back (to go from the topic to the topic activity page) i am sent to the topic activity page from the 18/11/2005.

I started a new topic in 'Buying and selling parts' (WTD: Front beam for '70 Bug).... and all this week have been able to reply on it to other people's posts and edit my original post also..... yet tonight when I get home I can't reply to anything as there is no box for me to write in at the bottom...???
