It is just hitting us now. They were right about everything so far except the hail for us here. Hopefully it will stay that way.

Although there is the odd exception but in general terms if it rains then it is unlikely that hail will eventuate. Hail usually comes over as a curtian of falling ice followed by rain. Rarely will it rain followed by hail.

Glad to see people still looking out for each other. Last time I was in here it was flame central and it seemed the love was lost. May have just been my perception.

For the NSWelshmen and women I like to use this site. Crap for hail but good for serious weather that has lightning.

As you can see at the moment it is showing storm activity in S/E Qld.

This is a good BOM loop also. I have this as my home page in my browser. Req. Broadband.

Hey the Bronze is still alive 🙂

Was not too bad a storm (as they go) for me at least. Lots of wibnd, some rain, but blew in and out fairly quick. My folks on the other side of town didn't get a drop of rain at all!!

Hope everyone else was as lucky.

I was caught in the middle of it in Andy, was a bit scary driving down Johnson Rd with a few rivers running across it and quite a few fallen trees, one big one across the road. Even had some light hail for ~10min.
Glad I was in the kombi and not the beetle, I would have blown away!!
Also happy to say no damage. I did pass a lot of cars parked on the side of the road, but decided to keep pushing on through it.

Still kicking penguin.

I'm please to see some love being spread in the forum. Last time I was here it was bitching and backbiting. Sort of like a bad B grade horror.

Sort of ebbs and flows here (mostly ebbs nowadays thankfully) mate, I think the Bad Attitude folder was a great idea, seems to have filtered a lot of stuff out of general chat.
Good to hear you're still alive out west and geocacheing along.

I was out in a mates Manx with no roof on the North Side, thankfully we managed to get get through without getting wet...I think it went around us, didnt really get a storm at all.

Chris from beenleigh here. Nothing too scary. Actually, the clouds were the scariest part, the rain was nothing rough at all, just a bit of splatter. More of a tropical storm, with the big rain drops, but overall, not very dense rain, with the distant thunder.

Luckily I just finished swapping the old front car seats for new ones just as soon as it started to spit. But not too bad at all.
