http://www.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/205535.jpg just wanted to know what went here... see pic, the bit with 2studs coming out on the lhs of the top of the shock, mine has it like that 2, but ive never seen anything on them

The were for a Z bar or factory camber compensator.All 67 & later have these i think.

Swingaxles had them fitted.
Irs had the spot, but no z-bar fitted.
