kirk ·

hi.

i am looking for a white sports steering wheel for my bug,

having a bit of trouble finding one, anyone know where i can get one, or look at some on a website?

many many years ago i bought a sports steering wheel from autobarn for a bug... all you need is the correct boss adaptor to suit the beetle.

kirk ·

autobarn...had a look at all the usual suspects, supercheap.ect ect,

no white ones.

hmmmm....😬

anywhere else?

pete wood ·

try a VW shop like the Aust VW perf centre. I'm sure they'd have something or could point you in the right direction.

BTW, why do you want a white one? It will get dirty very very fast. 👎

something a bit different.

any websites that show the steering wheels?

65busser ·

If you can't find the one you want in white, choose the one you want and I'll recover it in white leather for you.

pete wood ·

Look up SAAS on the internet.
Revolution racegear sell all sorts of wheels and seats too.

kirk ·

iv'e found some i like in black, 65busser that sound like a good idea you have there. is it hard for you to do?

what sort of price am i looking at?

Volkswagenboy ·

Mick Motors have wheels from $130 with boss (See page 8-9 VWMA Issue 8).

LUFTMEISTER ·

mooneyes or hot rod shops sell white wheels (i have one) they are standard 3 hole configaration and fit most usa adaptors (flat4,grants) hope this helps.

kirk ·

thanks mate, still looking.

To recover at a saddlery will cost approximately $120. Mines getting recovered at the moment. i could buy a new wheel for that much but it will look like new when done anyhow.
