coloring leather????

i read a post on here recently about changing the color of leather with some sort of paint of some sort...if anyone knows what this stuff is and how durable and effective it is please let me know.thanks for any info andreas

VHT makes product which says it can be used on leather.
Have only used it vinyl and carpet and it was excellent.
Available at Autopro, Supercheap etc

Be very careful about what you use to change or even to restore leather colour with. If you use a cheap product to change the colour or to restore the original colour of leather seats it can leave colour on the clothing of people who sit in the seats. Especially on a hot sweaty day.

Forget to mention you will need two coats and surface must be really clean.

Ford used this type of product to give black trim to GT Falcons from original brown.
