anyone want an original pop-top bed?

found an original poptop bed (the ones that sit on a lip up in the poptop for sale near me, almost bought it for myself, but couldnt justify it (i have no real use for a child sized bed). it is white vinyl with little black dots to replicate the breather holes in VW headlining, with thick ply, 5 sections i think, vinyl is a litle mouldy but no tears that i could see. if anyone is after one of these let me know what you are willing to pay, and i will talk to the owner and give it to you at whatever it costs me. it is definitely too heavy to post, but if you want to courier and can organise it thats fine, or if you live around Ringwood i can tell you where it is and you can buy it yourself, whatever's easiest, you dont see many of these around and id prefer not to see it thrown out.

These beds will sleep two adults and original brochures say 180kilos. They are also slightly wider than standard lower bed.
I had one posted from Brisbane and it was $45
The white vinyl cleans up really well in most cases

not sure if 2 adults will fit, appears a little short, but is so solid Im sure it would support them. wood looks really good too, dont think its seen much use or weather

I have one of these, how much do you think they are worth?
Its not what the wood bed would support, but more the fibreglass rails on either side of the roof opening which it sits on. But if they say 180Kgs..

i dunno, cant imagine its worth much, just pretty rare that you see one in good nic (first one i have seen in any condition), since it isnt much use to me i thought Id see if someone else wanted to save this rarity

They seem to sell from $50-$90-depending on demand.
I bought a good one for around $40 without timber and made new boards out of marine ply. Made it easier to post without timber
