having starting probs when hot ,solenoid getting very hot and not being able to crank it over without a boost ,so was going to change it as is a little lazy still anyway

its an aircooled 2 ltr and the only difference is the offset of the solenoid, this was cleared up beforre when i had probs with the same starter by Steve Muller

i've got one up here in byron on a 2 ltr gearbox in the shed. i'll find the receipt for it and get back to you with a price if you like!

still trying to get time to get it to the post office to get a quote on travel!
but cost of unit is $150 i am told.
[finance manager has found the reciept in my mess of a desk!]
a mate reckons freight would be about $15.

Aussie Post is great.

just ent afuel tank in a chaff bag from 4650 to 2247 and was $18 for 1500 kms to the door!!!
