**SOLD** Selling 1964 Standard Beetle

Sold the car today.
A guy came and looked at the car and payed cash and drove off in it.
I'm totally stoked. 🙂

There's not too many standard model type 1's around anymore and this one is in good condition.

What sort of Rust sealer was used (POR-15) ?

In the mean time, Could I ask for a few more Photo's to be posted (Side views, Engine Bay, etc)?

Hi John,

Added a few more pics, the side shots are old shots from the previous owner, the only change is that there are now chrome quarter windows installed.
Added a picture of the engine bay taken on the 21st Feb 06.
Some shots of the seats and the headliner have also been added.

I used Rust Converter and then Rust Guard on the car. It's not a permanent solution but was enough to hold until I can get it professionally dealt with. Now I'm deciding to sell the car....

someone buy it, it's a nice little car. It only lives round the corner from me.

It's a great car, shame to sell but need the extra room that the Microbus offers.
