my 71 superbug had one of those when i bought it
i think youll find it is a 12 volt 68 on unit, even my 74 Lbug manual has radios like that in it
all the old 6 volt ones i've seen have ivory knobs and buttons that match the headlight/wiper knobs

hey, for any of the later bugs, say like the 69' 😉, were some of the sterio head units made by a company called "Ferris"?
I got one in my car, very oldskool, only gotz AM radio, volume and tuning nobs, bout it, seems old, is it original too?

they were also used in later type 3's, my 72 square has one. looks the part. they are cool. good luck with the sale

i had one in a 68 and updated it from K-mart with an am / fm in about 70 or $15
the 6 volters are worth more and yepp ferris is one of them
and if it works all the better Bajachris
