well looking out the back window towards the hills of samford and warner and to the north there are some light showers but nothing heavy. during the night we just had light showers but i think we will have some heavier falls latter in the day hopefully. only have had about 20mm overnight

I am out at Amberley (abt 50knm from Bris, just outside Ipswich and we are wet. Radar shows lots of rain to sea, and lately for some reason the weather has mostly blown onshore rather than out to sea.
Other than that, a rather coolish day.

cool thanks guys just been keeping an eye on it, actually looks better than here as long as it stay at sea.
it has bucketed down overnight with 3 main rivers about to flood, 1 has already this morning.
my thinking is the low will travel sth slowly today as yesterday it was off hervey bay & midnight its
off sth sunshine coast so by tomorrow hopefully it will be acroos the border into nsw & brissy will be ok.

yep bugboymatt its on your doorstep now ever so slowly its moving down.
a builder who lives here just came down from goldcoast in a new holden ute
& reckons he got buffetted around byron couldnt believe the ute which is
lowered was being shunted around strong winds & durambah 6mtr swells.
