Hi all ,

Have 3 sets of twin36 IDF for sale were both fitted to 1600tp motors.
Great condition recient reco and properly maintained.
Great to fit to a 1600cc twinport for more oompf and looks cool.

If any one has Febuary 2005 issue of volksworld there is a step by step article on how to fit and the benefits of twin carbs not only will it boost your power it claims that you will visit the Gas station less regularly.... sounds good to me with the price of petrol nowadays.

Do they come with manifolds and linkages or carbys only

Carbies only.

manifolds are still in use, up grading carbs.

Are any 36IDF manifolds available for Type III's ?

IDF 36's are the same as IDF 40's and 44's

So yes they are available

Where can ya get the manifolds?
-Staggers.

Most Vw parts people can provide them Classic has them , i have i set of manifolds.

Also have air cleaners.

what else apart from manifolds is needed to get these baby's going?
