A bit of nostalgia - not VW

Was cleaning the desk today and found this pic we took while inspecting the old GB building/store at bathurst

This was written on the floor

"This carpet was laid
by the furniture store
...... various names .. on 20/9/42 Sunday

The japs are near to Pt Moresby
Russia is holding on to
Stalingrad like hell
God Bless"

Hopefully the builder saw fit to keep the planks

Anyway.........

Wow.... almost scary! Cool idea though. :P

Blutopless and I did that when we replaced our floor in our house. Seeing that we are now in the process of selling our first marital home :cry and moving onto bigger and better things :bounce it will be a permanant memento of the fun we had renovating :jesus
