This is inside my main shed. I have another smaller one that houses most of our stock.......
Lots of crap in here. No proper shelving or benches yet. Big plans though!!!

Crikey some people have some big sheds on here - making me well and truly jealous!

62deluxe ·

I'd get lost in that one surfn'!!!
I'd probably die of starvation looking for the exit.

You should seriously consider giving some of that to me. Starting with that crappy base model bug.......

ragtopp ·

That sheds nearly empty when compared with the other one!
Yes that crappy standard model bug, its still been 10 years since it was washed and still got shine. Crazy that 46000 original one owner cars are still out there, and sometimes for the crazy sum of $800. Effen oath i love that old bug!

bond ·

CAFFINEPUSHERMAN wrote:why do people have to destroy early falcon wheel arches like that?
it's ok, we've put fresh 1/4 panels on the XP .
it now has standard arches.

1500S ·

Can't match the size of your sheds but how can you survive without some basic tools! Sure cuts the cost on engine re-builds!

Shed envy

nbturbo ·

Mine is 30 x 10 x 3.5 metres and has been a pain in the arse for a long time-so have spent the last 2 months reorganising the whole thing with dedicated areas for all the stuff I do.Had 5 trips to the dump with the ute and my 7X4 trailer full(one trip I had the trailer fully loaded with scrap glass from my Leadlighting stuff)Have an area for the Leadlighting and clockrepairs, another for the lathe, drill press, bandsaw and 2 grinders(one with wire wheels and stones on the other)Have a bench area for mechanical stuff with a parts washer and my tooltrolleys.Have a dedicated welding area with Mig,Tig,stick and oxy.Have a solid steel bench with a 10mm steel top for welding.Have put all my woodworking stuff along 1 wall so I can plumb a dust extraction system(have got the unit but need to make all the pipe work)The reason this started-3 months ago I ordered a new 2 post car hoist and needed the room-so stuff had to go.The hoist has assymetrical arms so I can open the car doors easier when on the hoist,so it had to be ordered and took way longer than promised(it arrived in Adelaide last Friday). The shed had old solid sliding doors which were a pain to open-so I used one for a petition for the welding area and put up 2 new roller doors.I am part way thru building a dust proof room across one end of the shed to keep 2 cars clean and with storage upsairs.Have got all the Gyproc to line the whole thing and some grey 2 pac paint for the floor-so should be 2 less cars to have to constantly wash.Hopefully the whole thing will user friendly in the next few months.I have promised myself that it will never end up all cluttered with shit like it was B4.

[/img]l folder as well as my polisher for brass and stainless stuff.Have got a small hand sheer for small flat bar and round-very handy

[ Edited on 16-11-2006 by nbturbo ]

Hertz ·

I can make any shed look better. And easier to clean up those trademark VW oil spills.:thumb see below

sean68 ·

i've decided too. I want one of those coffee machines :bounce

nbturbo ·

Finally finished all the frames for the sealed room-fitted an access door and will have a fixed window in the centre to let in some light.Have started on the up top storage-done 3x2.4 metres so far just to get some of the shit up out of the way. Will be doing a heavy duty
[/img] 3x3metre section in the middle to take pallets so I can store sprare motors and all the heavy stuff-can use a Fork to lift pallets up and then slide stuff around.Need to hurry up so I can get all the shit up top to clear the floor area so I can erect my hoist.

From the outside (before the rebuild:

And what the inside used to look like - I have less room now (wife and kids junk!

Here's my shed. I share it with a couple of others. One of them is a crazy VW freak, with a Bug he has cut a giant sunroof into. I think he is gonna restore it as a Herbie, or maybe one of those hot looking Poraga kits!! Cooooooool....

The busses are my babies.

This is what I do with my busses.

Dak-A-Tak ·

I think this means more work to come ,doors next ,windows, lights, selves .
Has taken a long time to get this far ,as Rods work load is
very large ,but now we bring all the cars together.
Shed is about 12mtr X 6mtr allready to small.

Dasdubber ·

Nice work Pete (and Rod) - you can never have too much space in a shed hey!

I miss my dad's shed.

I now only have a single garage (can't complain though as it could be a lot worse!)
