They sound like the '66ish ones, 1500's was learnin' me on, of which I need a pair. know what your after ??.

PS; thanks for the tip on the type 3's - they sound like the later shape - I've got a soft spot for the older shape. Thanks though David.

Terry will maybe confirm if they are the ones I had with the seat back in another post here. They were off a 66/67 Fastback. These are the ones where the base Z rest is in two pieces with a padded rest clipped/screwed on the rear half. There is a Z trim strip of aluminium along it. The padded pieces were re-covered if they are the same ones.

The 1500S had single piece Black rests and the up to 1963 N had Grey ones.
