what kind of cards are you thinking of doing??

the first one is good for one of those touristy postcards... make the colours a little less gaudy though!!

there isnt too much going on in the second photo... maybe suitable if you are going to put some writing in the negative space
theres too much going on in the third photo... though it would have looked stunning as a black and white photo (love the texture!)

the last photo, i like 😀 nice urban decay shot... id like to see it black and white though (have some fun with channels in photoshop!!)

I love the first one... so many colours! where is it?

I saw a great pic today in an old photography book...
a quadruple exposure of fast moving clouds, with a normal initial exposure and different coloured filters used on each subsequent exposure. It was explosively colourful!
I also like your shots of derelict vehicles. I'd love to see them in wide angle.

If you like that sort of thing, this site has hundreds of excellent shots taken in real American ghost towns..many with very old vehicles sinking into the ground..

The first one's colours look wrong... too saturated and glarey.
The 2nd one is alright, but yeah... what kind of cards are you thinking of?

yeah, the gaudyness was intended, thanks for the link buzzbox, some cool stuff on there, PBB, i have done alot of my mothers art in the past into basic plain gift cards/card art (plain a6 sized cards (a5 folded in 1/2)) so i am thinking of doing these in the same way as something different to take to my market at St Andrews

photo no 1 has the look of a postcard from mid 50s.keep the colours natural, unless your doing somthing different.dont get too carried away with photoshop, instead concentrate on angles, composition.no 2tells its story ok ,but try a lower angle .a wide angle lens could help.no 3 interesting lines but lighting is flat and dull .morning or evening sun for dramatic contrast? the more you do the better you get, keep trying different things. go for it,hope to see more soon
