why are you selling anyway?
Too many cars and need to get the kombi on the road as the beetles are too small for what we need now.

There are no limits if you want something bad enough.

dubbill wrote:i dont need the mtr but interested in the car is the gearbox built(albins) or is it a stockoas i have serious hp to kick into it req decent box a cogs u2u me details cant believe its still 4 sale after all this time!!!:o
I am not sure if they are albins gears but it was built by henry spicak to handle the turboed motor. It certainly handles the power fine, i dont know the hp output of the motor but i havent had any gearbox trouble. it has welded 3rd and 4th to strengthen the top end and has a superdiff to lay the power down.

How much power and have you run the 1/4 mile?
blkovl ·
dont know the power output, as i havent had it on a dyno, i was told by a guy that compared to the power to weight ratio of a wrx, it should have 160-180bhp at the wheels. this is someone elses estimation not mine. i had it at the old eastern creek track and ran a 14 flat running 8psi. since then i have increased the boost to 13-14psi, so it should be good for high 12s low 13s? not sure.
