I am looking for some front seats for my 1970 Bug. I would like original VW seats but they do not need to be from that specific year as long as they fit onto the tracks.
I am hoping to order some seat upholstery from the US so they do not need to be in tip top condition.
I am on the Gold Coast, any leads would be much appreciated.

I have a set of 1970 low back front seats but they are both passenger side. The only difference is that the seat on the drivers side will have the lever to fold forward in the middle of the car rather than the outside. They are sturdy but need new upholstery.

i have a set of 73 beetle high back seats,dont no if they fit into a 70 beetle but i am sure someone will no:beer

Thanks guys, I love the low backs and would really like some but I am a little worried about my neck should the worst happen. I will ask the question to the forum re: 73 seats in the 70 Bug and get in touch if ok.

Ok. If you decide on the low backs I am driving from Newcastle to Brisbane on Sunday morning and can drop them off to you somewhere. The low backs were the original seats for that model and I think the later seats might need different tracks welded in to take the seat bases.
I have a complete 1970 beetle in bits if you need any other parts.

i have some 71 superbug seats.
not in awesome condition. definatly need recovering and possibly respringing but if i remember correctly they work alrite
