I have been to every one since either 88 or 89. Not sure how many that makes.

Blutopless and I will be there, he will be driving the oval and me in the cabrio. We are bringing my friend Kate who will be driving Mr Green her New Beetle.
However the big problem is that now I am the proud owner of an "aircooled" bug, does this mean that I have to bring that and leave the waterpumper safely tucked away at home??????

You have to go. Will be a lot of fun, I am soooo looking forward to meeting a few of these faceless forum people. Some I want to kill, others I want to hump their leg.
Ummm well it will be fun if nobody has an engine blowup at Kempsey yet keeps driving. And I get there and I have a bed to sleep on without having to scrounge around at 1am. And we dont have to perform rebuilds on a caravan slab. I still think I may owe some favours in that regard. On the bright side, I reckon I have a few heckler favours I need to return as well.

My grandma lives at kempey, my uncle, aunty, cousin, other uncle, other grandma and grandpa live in coffs. 😀 Got heaps of relatives down round that area.

OK, well I'm making an executive decision here. AVD BBQ from 12 noon to 2pm, outsid ethe cabin housing club veedub crew. You wont miss the noise, its more or less opposite the swap meet area.

i am aiming to be there, unfort not in the buggy,.
as i am unknown to the vast bulk of other members and i presume a few others will be in the same boat, is there any worth in a uniform name badge image thing we can type our name in with photoshop or something and print up on a label or summthing.
yes i know its a bit gay, but, it really only needs to be something like a banner image with some white space underneath for your avd ID and it would certainly beat tatooing HELTERSKELTER400 on my forhead and calling everyone "mate".

I just told my missus that I spent a bucket load on 4 cricket matches + air fares and accom. She is giving me the cant afford it thing too. You will just have to sell stuff. Sell everything that isnt bolted down, doesnt even have to be yours! Ebay is your friend!

Will most likely happen to me soon. (we are selling), and i bet it will uncomfortably be in the middle of my planned baja resto.
but regardless, i got a car i can use (cause dad is getting another from work, with his recent promotion), and a plan for Ps, as well as a soon after 'back up' plan (IN CASE) has been made.
Accomodation too. Was a bit doubtful everything would happen 🙁, but things are falling into place well. Its gonna be hellllllllllllll fun. mAHAHAh !

chris i understand the moving situation, my parents are moving house tommorow...i loved our old house but since i dont live there all the time anymore i didnt really have a say in it...i guess the new house might be fun EXCEPT the council rules are "no unregistered cars to be kept on the property" which poses a problem since we own 6 vws and 2 of them are regoed :|
and yes coffs is the bomb!!!!! i should try sneak you into the planto...and get you drunk!!!

Yes... we are coming along it will be hubby and my 3rd Valla.
However we wont be in a VW this year . We are leaving behind our Beetle and Country Buggy (at this stage CB is still upside down getting bits replaced).
We are continuming from Brisbane through to Canberra and then back the inland way staying at Dubbo and we think this might kill the VW's and they dont have a heater and since we are going to experience the snow a heater would be a good thing.

Haha 😀 my uncles got a plantation in coffs. i plan for it to be the baja testing grounds for fun 😀 We can have fun while munching on bananas, mangoes, grapes and maccadamia nuts :P Haha. Would lurve to be ur groupie at valla! 😀
