The Newcastle VW Club in conjunction with Heddon Greta Drive-In is organising a DRIVE-IN Night to see CARS, Disney/Pixars new animated film.
This will be on Saturday 1st of July 2006.
Everyone is welcome to come along and join in the fun, should be a great night just like the Herbie premiere last year.
The movie starts at 7.50pm.
We will be meeting at the Hexam OAK at about 6.45pm to leave about 7.15pm.

No doubt will be as well organised as all the other DNVK cruises.

I think that it opens on the 8th (Thursday) in Sydney, so probably at Bass Hill, Blacktown that weekend...dunno...Greater Union site doesn't say....
Anyway...the DSK crowd will be heading down to Narooma for the LWE and I think Flat 4 are off that direction too, so guess won't be able to make it, should people decide to go that weekend...
So this looks like a good later date for me...despite the drive...How long will it take to get up there from the start of the freeway ya think? Anywhere local to go for food before???

from the start of the freeway it takes about 1 1/2 hours to get to where we are meeting at the OAK and BURGER KING at sandgate (at the end of the freeway) where you can get some dinner.
from there its another 15-20 mins to the drive-in.
got loads of interest so should be another great night at the drive-in!

its great to see everyone is keen for the Drive-In this Saturday night.
The movie times have been announced and CARS starts at 7.50pm.
WE ARE MEETING AT THE OAK/HUNGRY JACKS AT 189 Maitland Rd, HEXHAM AT 6.45PM. Departing at 7.15pm.
Ticket prices are $20 per car for one movie and $30 for 2 movies, so bring a car full of friends and have a great night out at the drive-in.

For anyone coming up from Sydney, F3DK will be meeting / leaving Warnervale McDonalds at 5.45 sharp if you're interested. That will get us up to the Oak Hexham for 6.30 - plenty of time for some Hungry Jacks.
Sam - just for interests sake, I take it Cars is on first?? Should be another great night.
