awesome pics. love the low red twincab bay, is the 356 real? looks great on those steel rims, good to see the shorty, didnt know there were any in Aus (or at least any left!)
Volkswagenboy ·
No, the 356 is a Replica (I know because Jeff and I swapped the engine in it yesterday afternoon!)
Either way it's a smooth ride!

top day had by all . going to drag you along next yr mick betta tell the misses you have a date . met some great people missed a few but its easy to get caught up in conversations about dubs . thanks staggers for the hard work you put in mate yesterday to help me get the 356 there top effort .

I agree, the 356 was a definite piece of "great work", and isn't it great to hear of members helping to get their cars there.
The silver Type 3 wagon with the flames, was towed in, as the owner wanted to bring it but couldn't get it started, but with some help from Dave From Gold Coast Vee Dub and some other helpers.......he actually got to drive it home!
Plans are afoot for yet a bigger and better one next year!!!! Keep your eyes open for next years date and flyers.
What did you think of the trophies??
