hey ad my mate has one well it hasent gone off since the cricket anyway we were all sitting around the other day and it says to me "you gotta a beer mate" I said nah mate actually I havent it says back "thats no good matey" it was freaky hasnet talked since maybe the batteries are running out.D

got me one of them too.
He was going off at cricket time sayin things like "Wheres me thongs" & "Get me a VB" & stuff.
He didn't say any thing for a long time & now lately he is very talkative again...
He said the other morning at about 5am he woke us all up by saying he "The crickets on now"
Now he is banished to the cupboard lol
I hear they are real collectors items now

Yep as in David Boone the cricketer.
He was brought out when the cricket was on a little while back.
we got ours when you bought a carton of VB at out local bottle shop.
18cm or so tall made of plastic & has some sort of device that when you put him so far away from the tv he spoke when that match was played on your tv.
& is still speaking...lol

I had one of them opposite the slider in my bus hehe... but I took it down cos dad got sick of it singing Proud Mary everytime he opened the slider when I was on L's... but I think Im gonna put itback up again soon hehe 😂
