Got so plans coming up, and a 4 week holiday. i got parts, + time, and in time, hopefully a bit of money.

Needs a copy of these books though.

1. The idiots guide to vws

2. How to rebuild a vw engine

Looked on ebay so far, and everyone seems to want PayPal, i don't have a credit card, so no can do. However, can transfer funds via bank, if i get details. 2nd or wateva copies, am after, something that u may have loose, or spare.

bugeyedbabe ·

u can grab them from classic pacific...

and also, check with ur bank chris...i think they'd let u have a visa debit card...it isnt credit...I dont think you have to be over 18, and u only use the funds u have in that account...

Its great to use with ebay...and other groups who only take a 'credit card' as the visa debit card is the same.

cheers donna, will have to look into that then.

hmm, classic pacific, where bouts are they? IF theres any stores near metropolitian brisbane, would be wicked. I could probably go to the uni book store and order copy. last time i did, it was $25 for Jeff Hibbards guide to baja bugs and buggies (BRAND SPANKING NEW) Including shipping from the US!!

bugeyedbabe ·

pacific are on goldie...but u know most vw shops have them

and yeah..u might wanna try the uni shop..see how cheap they can get them...work out if its cheaper...

always a good palce to start

cheers mate, greatly appreciated 😀

Quoll ·

You can use your bank account with paypal or at least I do :alien

68AutoBug ·

My PayPal is taken from My Credit card...

PayPal is probably the cheapest way to buy goods from overseas... You only pay for the goods...
The bank usually charges Me a couple of dollars. for about $200US..... otherwise its just cents....

Not like Western Union or International Money orders etc that charge approx $25 minimum plus it goes up as the money paid overseas goes up....

I love PayPal.... and its great now as its NOT only in US$$..

I was at Cararra Markets on Sunday, and there were a couple of Gregory's style manuals there for sale. I think they had about $20 on them. Was gonna grab one myself actually, cos I only have an early beetle manual, and mine has a late model motor.

And yeah, you can use your bank account with paypal.

Yogie ·

Mick motors has them also. And yes, you can use your bank account to take out the funds to use paypal.
