Thanks to everyone that came to our cruz, it was a great day. As we had about 15 VW's a Porsche turn up at the workshop and the weather turned out fine after a cloudy start and a bit of drisell at Wallsend in the morning.

Award of a car wash pack and 4lts of oil was given to Brock from the Central Coast for furthest travelled thanks for making the trip.

Greg from newy doing a check over on his 70 beetle one of the game ones to put it up on the hoist to be scrutinized by all the vw experts on hand.

It took 1/2 dozen blokes to do a grease on Dion's vw.

Rose cooking the barbie to feed the crew after all the hard work greasing one vw.

All the vw people eating snags and having a soft drink.

Couple of blokes trying to work out if porsche engine into a beetle. lol.

A big thanks to everyone for coming as it was a great day to take out the vw's and it was good to have such a big turn out for out first attemp at organising a cruz. Hope to be able to do it again if all interested.

It started at Wallsend then up the HWY to Ian's & Rose's Workshop at Caltex East Maitland. From there after a grease then lunch we went off to Morpeth for a coffee.

we gotta do one of those cruizzzses here in brissy rosy looks like a great day out and very relaxing , though its hot work flippin them snags .i think the guys a organising a night cruize here soon:thumb

Thanks for the use of your hoist Ian....good opportunity to tighten up some of the floor pan bolts. Much easier than lying under the car!
