[not vw] What slideshow software are people using (dvd playable)

Just wondering what software people would recommend for making DVD playable slideshows.

Have tried a few and found them dull, just images no effects between or if affects applied they are applied between every change (yuk!) or worse still music doesn't always play the right length or images shown out of order...

Any suggestions?

Easiest way ... Nero 7. Cool way, Premier Pro2 and Adobe Encore.

Out of the box way iPhoto/iLife if you've got a Mac.

NTI DVD and CD Maker.
