yeah that's nuts, i wonder how it would compare to a suby conversion. in terms of output and installation effort.

What is it? a 13bt?
Lot's power there. I wonder what he has in the tranny department. Sounded like it had a welded diff.
Yes I think a subie turbo could do that too.

Must be 13b, but not heavily ported, fairly constant idle, must just have a huge turbo or two. I had a mate who had an rx3 that did donuts like that. was just about undriveable.

my 70 beetle was an NA 13B and wasnt quite that impressive
i'm planning on swapping to an EJ22 such a nicer engine rotarys are good for brute power only not smoothness LOL

Had a RX-3 savanna coupe, mum used to drive us to soccer in it. One if the fastest NA cars I had ever been in. 13b extend bridgeport. When she sold it she wouldn't let me buy it off her. Shits me now because they have increased in value like good split kombi's. Only thing I have out of it is the rev beeper.

the rotor is a easier fit

well, should the right price be offered for my wrx engine and flywheel +adaptor. a change might be on the cards 🙂
if the sale would cover the cost of the rotary and adaptor/flywheel.

loved the vid, i love beetles, ryan loves rotors so was a perfect mix for both of us, ryan wants to do it to my beetle, but i have said no to this one, as this is MY project car that i wanna do my way, but ill let him convert the next one.
