I reckon they look cool in green, but there ain't many colours that look crap IMO. I'll be going pastel green on my 54.
If you want a factory colour there is agave green which is a 56-57 US colour and it looks a bit lighter than pastel grren. Then there's always diamond green, Dave O'Connor over here just got his finished in that colour and it looks hot, last photo.

Hmmm, I don't know what midnight blue is, but here is my 70 (not a super though) beetle in metallic dark blue.
By the way, ovals in green rock - I think the two up the top are the same car (from france if memory serves me correct) - white interior with front bench seat and tall shifter. May be wrong though.

I so agree, I wanted Rod to paint our oval fuschia pink and he flatly refused and to be honest I still can't see why????????? :o , Although I am not too sure about the white car thing. My 74 is white and I wouldn't have it any other way
