Worked all day; went to the shops for a kebab for dinner in my Beetle, because I won't get to drive it for about 10 days because I'll be working lots. After that, I was gunna go home and do some more work, but then I thought 'stuff it', I'll go and have a look at some car yards and see what Monaros are worth these days, then I thought I'd go home and go to bed early but as I approached home I didn't feel like going to bed early anymore. It was TOO early to go to bed, even though I wanted an early night. So I kept driving straight past my house (sorry neighbours!) and went for fang up the Old Pacific Highway to Mount White, back to Brooklyn, up, then down again and home on the freeway. Apart from an MX5 who thought it would be a cool trick to pull out 50m in front of me at the Mooney Mooney servo then do 60 all the way up the hill, and a bit of slide on a dewy corner before my tyres heated up I had a BLAST!
I found a new favourite trick corner, too - the left U-turn entry to the freeway from Brooklyn/Pcf Highway at the nth end of the bridges. FUN! Hit it hard enough and you can keep the tail sliding, the inside rear spinning AND the inside front wheel bouncing in the air just about all the way round! :thumb
