Hi everyone,
I need to know if anyone can recommend someone to pickup a kombi for me in Brisbane (at Buggy Brads house) and cart it down to melbourne. It is a rolling shell and I followed some recommendations on the forum and contacted Showtime and all he has done for the last month is make excuses for not picking it up. After the third no show at Brads I have had enough. Can anyone recommend someone? I am willing to pay the dosh to get it here, I am sick of waiting

try ringing some big caravan places as they are pretty much the only carriers with winch's these days!! even if it is done in legs like brissy sydney etc might be the way to go !!
just a thought!! or try max andrew's car transport they do non goers

I am needing to get a Kombi from Melbourne to Toowoomba and have organised Steve from "Showtime" to cart it for me.
He says he will do it soon but won't give any times or date, maybe we could organise something?

well, yet again Steve from showtime was a no show. I am in the process of shopping for other carriers. When I find one Jeremy I will let you know. So much for a good bloke and reliable, he doesn't even call me when he doesn't show.

i know RACV usually does it as a backload, if theres a road train going up to brisbane that will be coming back with an empty or part empty trailer then they load the car up on that. anyone feel like a roadtrip? hire a nice big car and trailer, tow jeremys bus to townsville, then bring megalania's back from brisbane 😁😀

sorry guys about being let down by showtime , i had my type 3 wagon stranded in adelaide as well , steve kept letting me down ended up flying down and driving her home myself . ( my apolargies )

Hey Jeremy, my missus rang showtime and told him to get bent, said she was sick of waiting 2 months for him to pick up the car. She called a company in Brisbane called door to door. Not as cheap as Showtime but atleast I know its going to get picked up. Just google them

steve is charging me $600 from Melbourne to Brisbane what sort of $'s is "door to door" charging you?
Maybe I will cart your down to melbourne and bring mine back up.

I already booked it Jeremy, but they quoted me $860 door to door. The kombie is 30km out from brissy and I am about 20km out from melbourne. They usually pick up in Brisbane on tuesday and deliver to melbourne by the following friday.
