Could anyone please measure from the seat (where the bum goes) to the roof. The reason being is I'm 195cm (6 foot 4) and I am looking at doing a chop top, so i need to know if i will fit...
Im picking up my very first beetle on the 20th! but certainly am no stranger to them. Any help would be great, thanks

Depends on what seat you have. My highbacks are noticably higher than my lowbacks, for some reason.

you can always chop down the seat base frame too...

I have a 73 Beetle with low back seats. The distance from the rear of the seat to the head lining is 3 feet 1 inch or 94 centimetres. When I sit in the seat I push the seat down about 2 inches or 5 centimeters. The seat is 1 foot or 30 centimetres from the floor. The total distance from the floor to the roof is 4 foot 1 inch or 124 centimeters. I hope that this helps.
