I had a really horrible dream last night that Jane my beloved 1974 bug caught on fire and was totally destroyed .....

Oh yes. I agree with camperkid. You have been clearly warned to replace all of your fuel hoses, starting at the fuel tank, with new clips, new grommets and a new filter. Do it ASAP.

Webers - 2 of them.

Cranks - they are a definite fire risk. Change that too. At least an 82mm

Exhaust - another fire risk. The only way to stop that one is a ceramic coated fully merged system.

Head - WOW!!!! - more fire risks!!!
