if u go past newcastle do u think u will stop somewhere? last time heatherbrae pie shop was used as a meeting spot (near raymond terrace). some newcastle folk want to join the convoy so let me know.

the pie shop is a great option, good coffee and healthy pies...so brooklyn then heatherbrae

Sweet. I won't be going to Valla but will pop into Brooklyn and take some pics on my way to work.

I would have thought 8.30ish...maybe 9am...dont want to get to valla too late, set up and watch the crew roll in, although i suspect we will be the crew

some dubbers from upper hunter valley way are meeting at end of fwy at the BP at Beresfield joining convoy.

Pass on the pie shop option, then those from sydney can have a break, and its only 5mins up the road from the bp

plenty of parking at the pie shop and good food, compared to trying to squeeze into a BP.

Fool is right, and the coffee is zentfelds...the same coffee we'll be drinking at valla from ccc...and the pies are sensational, beef and muchroom pie for breaky, and a snack pie, hello

Its a BP truck stop it has heaps of parks,:jesus
IT has Burger King and another country style dinner,plus the BP food counter With heaps of pies and sasage rolls too :jesus
some Newcastle veedubbers that cant get away untill 1pm are meeting at BP also.

Bruce's gonna eat his way to Valla....lol....penty of room in the panel to stock up on Pies.

No, just explaining that its a big BP servo ,at end of fwy:thumb just in case you did not know.Any way we are going on thursday with clubvw as having 5 days off work.I,ll tell the people from maitland to join on end of convoy at heatherbae,:thumb

The pie shop is a good option, and there is a bp there also, and a hungry jacks...so we can have it all.

Heatherbrae pie shop around 8.30am, we will be leaving brooklyn shortly after 7.30, so an hour to heatherbrae should be right...and thats 2 hrs for the sydney crew, stop revive survive

BTW, a 1600 is really gonna struggle with all that extra fat on board. Why not upgrade to something with more torque....like a Subie. 😉

so if i pass the bridge at brooklyn, theres a exit on the left and then a road after the exit, do i go down that road and it wraps around to the boat ramp by the water?
