I'm getting alot of mixed info about what type of turbo's are suitable for a 1600 draw through system.
Any advice is appreciated

The question is too broad dude.
You need to narrow things down quite a bit and include the boost you intend to use, the RPM you wish to rev it to and so-on.
However, if you are going to keep it low revs and lower boost then you just need to choose a turbo off a similar sized engine.
FWIW, Im using a garret T02 off a nissan Pulsar Turbo ET.
These turbos do a good job on a 1500 engine that revs well in excess of 6000rpm and at boost pressures of up to 12psi reliably.
They start to run out of their efficiency maps beyond this and excessively heat the inlet air as well.
These are just one of a legion of huffers that will do the job.

You also need to think about the internal sealing arrangement for a draw through. Draw thru set up should have a carbon seal to prevent drawing the turbo oil in when you back off.
