Yes I am looking for that unwanted project that someone has spend thousands on and now wants to get rid of for a song. Does anyone have a decent mild engine they want to part with? I had lined some one up for their 1916pobjoy but never heard back. LIke I said Mild is the word. It needs to be a daily drive and go into the 356 replica. Willing to spend around the 2 to 2.5K mark.

I'm in Sydney and have a 1916 you can have for $800. Basically a long block with tin wear. No carbs. No idea what crank is in it. The bad news. Cracked case. So you would need a new case. 94mm b&p's. No exhaust.

Thanks guys. Those of you offering parts or stuff that needs a bit of work great half I would love to but no. I have too much other half finished stuff., I am really looking for something turn key that will run off the crate.

Just a fair word out to ppl looking for a nice engine. I sold a worked 1835 tp twin dellorto to a guy nth Bris who ripped his mate off in buying this engine under the guise its for the (now) Xmate. He kept it to flog off but the mate paid a fair slice of it in a package deal... I also lost out on the deal.
I don't think he is on the forum but the young suave 28 yyr olde lies through his teeth and makes shonky deals and I would not sleep easy had I heard a good dubber on this great forum was in the dark and therefore also snaffled..

The engine at COR was one of mine (Pobjoys) as i had 2. It is a Pobjoy and they also have the reciept for it. It is true what you say though..there were a couple for sale up here that claimed to be something that they weren't.......it always pays to make sure you get what you are paying for.
