I think Karina (butidontunderstand) said one time her sister Monique does that, but I'm pretty sure it's something she's just learning. (I might be wrong).

it all depends on wot type of glass it is.
do u need a new wheel or the old wheel just stuck together??
i could probably get some names of some people who might be able to help.

whats happened is the bottom of the wheel has been shattered so it needs to have more glass added and have the hole filled.
id really apperciate it if you could help monique

well from wot u have just explained i wouldnt be able to help. the glass working which i do is completely different to wot u will need.

i think it might be bad news for ya... you could glue the thing to gether, but refiring (from memory) to reseal the crack and make it non visible won't work.
Was inquiring the same thing multiple times with an art teacher during the subject last yr. You refire the thing to melt it in the kiln right if u want to hide the crack... but... the temperature heating has to be soooo dam slow its not funny (as to not crack the glass/ shatter it any more), but once u hit that temperature, its at a temperature where the rest of the item can melt/distort... and therefore u would need some mould on the entire surface (inside and out) to hold it together...
and nope, u can't just heat one section of the glass where the crack is, as that expands and in turn cracks as the temperature differs from the surrounding glass....
sooo, its either VERY hard or impossible... sorry 🙁

could reseal it with glue, and repaint over it...

I have a kiln, we can melt the whole thing into one pretty blob if you want!

Would he be asking if it were ceramic? 🙅

both use a kiln... both are pretty much the same procedure, depends on how badly 'f*&ked' it is.
at least u can refire ceramic though... and hide any cracks with a layer of glaze

its glass and i was hoping that like oxy wielding and you could just fill and shape
