It is the sought with the squeeze together latch that is ..... 50mm x 20mm?? including finger holes
What ever ... it is not the sort with the round dial
After a solid one - i have some vinly spray so more interested in no cracks, bent hinges or worn latches than a bent one that is shiny black.

i've gotta see him this week end about some front end parts so i'll see if any have good glovebox lids
i'll find some thing to post it in no probs
i made up a new radio/switch panel out of aluminium so i could fit some extra gauges and painted it candy apple red to match the steering wheel i got

those squeeze type latches are a PITA
i broke mine a few years back and couldnt find another anywhere for love nor money
local vw guy managed to find some in the US but it was gonna be $85 or more
i ended up getting a golf one which is similar and making it work with a bit of angle grinder Persuasion LOL
