Nah they're 15's, the centre cap is smaller on 17's and the bolt pattern is 5-100 so they look a fair bit different. I think the 15's look bigger when you slam it that much, maybe something to do with the top of the fender being over the rim. Still a cool ride none the less.
Here's a couple of pics of the difference, Bordeaux red split is on 15's and the black one is on 17's.
