Do you have a gripe. I've got a gripe but I would hate to see this thread become a negative thread so follow through with something positive hey. *Oh and lets not mention names :thumb

8 weeks ago I put my rear Baja shroud into the the local paint shop to repair some fibreglass. Hadn't recieved a call so I called around Saturday to see how it's going... What do i find, empty shed, new shop opening up and of course no shroud. Bugger. Turns out the chaps wife has stiffed him. She ran two books and syphoned him for the lot and did a runner leaving him out cold.

I get my tax check back in 10 days and it's all (cept for the wifes cut) going into getting the Baja back on the road again. Spent all day yesterday doing the parcel shelf, rolling another coat of paint on and trying to get the donk to purr instead of shake. I'm looking forward to going camping and tripping all round NSW these coming holidays as a test run.

I've seen Baja rear cowlings go really cheap on ebay at times...
but whether there are any for sale now, I don't know...

Best of Luck

there is one on ebay for $80

Spook ·

Since you got the only one in town, & therefore your parts are no good to anyone else, I would get my arse out to Dubbo tip & see if it ended up there.

Good thinkin spook. I tried the recycling guy already. He usually gets called when people are skipping town.

I'll check out Ebay as well. I'm chasing quotes at the moment also so if I have to claim insurance I have them ready. Hopefully I will catch up with the guy and it will be returned. No looking rosy yet though.
